Qualified Green Belts and Black Belts candidates should be able to demonstrate their understanding of project selection and team building skills.

Qualified Green Belt Requirements

• Core Skills Written Exam
  Closed-book exam, covering the basic concepts and tools of DMAIC. Passing score of 70% or above on each section of the exam.

NOTE: Recommended that candidates complete the Pivotal Resources DMAIC Project Workshop prior to taking the exam.

Qualified Black Belt Requirements

• Core Skills Written Exam
  Closed-book exam, covering the basic concepts and tools of DMAIC. Passing score of 70% or above on each section of the exam.
  
  
• Advanced Skills Written Exam
  Open-book exam that requires statistical software (e.g. Minitab) to solve case example questions and demonstrate knowledge of DMAIC advanced tools. Passing score of 70% or above on each section of the exam.

NOTE: Recommended that candidates complete the Pivotal Resources Six Sigma Black Belt Advanced Training Workshop and have at least one completed DMAIC project prior to taking the exam.
